CALAVINO CANAL

The Calavino Canal it’ll be a nice discovery during your stay in the Valley of the lakes. It is a trekking itinerary that follows the waters of the stream starting near the lake of Santa Massenza (the departure is behind the pizzeria Il Giardino delle Spezie) up to the characteristic village of Calavino. The wealth of water has created particular habitats and in the past centuries attracted the settlement of numerous craft activities that exploit its driving force. Once in the village you can follow the course of the water between mills and ancient buildings. Estimated around 2 hours for the itinerary.
